For licensed & insured contractors
Bid sealed. Price downward. Skip the per-lead grind.
Bidmark is the sealed-bidding marketplace built for licensed contractors — not the auction that pits you against three other callers for one shared phone number. You bring your trade, your state license, and your certificate of insurance; we open the scope to you plus a small, vetted queue of similarly credentialed contractors. Bids close at the deadline, ranked by price, identity, and credentials — and the bidding fee scales to the project, not to the platform's funnel.
Verification lands you on the bid list; on-site samples closed the deal.

The PPL operator pays for every phone call whether the lead turns into work or not; the Bidmark pro pays one tier fee per sealed window, with a ceiling on bids-per-window and a credential gate that removes the spam.

Illustration — actual figures will swing with the project's tier and your monthly sealed-window volume. The framing is the point: pay-per-lead charges you whether the lead closes or not; the sealed-bidding fee only charges you on a bid you chose to seal.
Bid the jobs that fit your week.
On a pay-per-lead platform you take the call to stay in the funnel — even when the project is wrong-shaped for your crew, even when the site is two hours from your service area, even when the bid window is two weeks too tight. On Bidmark you see the scope before you commit: the photos, the line items, the customer's timeline. You only seal a bid when the work fits your calendar, your crew, and your trade. A 'no' is a ten-second click, and it never costs you a fee. The result: every dollar of bidding-fee spend goes to projects you actually wanted to win.
The bidding fee scales to the project, not to the platform's bottom line.
Pay-per-lead charges the same fee regardless of whether the work is a 90-minute handyman visit or a six-figure build-out. That's bad economics for a contractor on either end — under-pricing a complex project, over-pricing a quick visit. Bidmark flips that: the same four-tier ladder that governs the customer's posting fee governs your bidding fee, calibrated to the dollar value and complexity of the engagement. You know the fee up front, before you seal, and you only pay it once per bid window you actually entered. Larger scopes carry larger coordination costs, so the fee steps up while staying under a half-percent of the project value on either side of the marketplace.
Identity is checked up-front — yours, and theirs.
On a pay-per-lead auction the customer has no license to look at, no certificate of insurance to download, and no record of past jobs. The 'who is this actually' anxiety is real, and it costs you the bid. On Bidmark every contractor in the sealed window has cleared an active-license check, has a current general-liability certificate on file, and has a job record — awarded sealed bids, completed work, customer reviews. Identity is verified once and re-checked at each new bid so an expired license fails the gate at submission, not at project handoff. The customer sees a verified badge, a license number, and an insurance certificate on your bid card. You compete on price and craftsmanship, not on trust signals the customer has to assemble themselves.

Verification is the gate. The Bidmark marketplace is the upside.
